This isn't a Reichelt problem. I ordered all semis for my
Silverline D-ASY from Farnell and got one motorboat unit too.

Yeah, the substitutes I ordered are exactly the same brand and type as the ones that came with the kit. I ordered them at Farnell too.

What's the difference between a bc140-16 and bc140-10? I read the HFE is higher in the 16, but I have no idea what it means.
So which one do we need?

I don't think it matters in this design, but I bought these: http://de.farnell.com/multicomp/bc140-1 ... =lookahead.
BC140-16 is also what is supplied with the kits.
